    What does "Gosorihyang" mean?

Built around our signature Gochang peanuts and the warmth of butter and nuts, the name carries the meaning of "a village filled with a savory fragrance."
*Many people also lovingly call us "Gosori."

    Why Gochang peanuts?

We use 100% peanuts grown in Gochang, Jeollabuk-do. As Korea's largest peanut producing region, with its red-clay soil ideally suited to growing peanuts, the kernels are larger and of superior quality.

Hello, I'm Lee Jin-hee, founder of Gosorihyang Confectionery.

For the past 16 years I've walked a single path in the food industry, and I built this brand to hold all of my experience and love.

I'm from the same place as our peanuts.

From Gochang, Jeollabuk-do — Korea's largest peanut producing region — we receive our 100% Gochang peanuts in their finest condition. (A close family friend personally runs a peanut farm there, so we source with full confidence.)

You may even come to love peanuts!

Ever since I was little, my mother's home-roasted peanuts were so fragrant and delicious.
That memory has stayed with me, and now I roast peanuts and bake cookies myself.
Thanks to her, I learned what a truly delicious peanut tastes like.
I put all of that know-how into every cookie I make.
Even guests who didn't care for peanuts have come to love them after tasting our peanut cookies.

Did the peanut flavors you've had before taste stale or heavy?

Then please try our Gosorihyang peanut cookies. Our cumulative sales speak for themselves.

We never compromise on ingredients.

We roast our peanuts ourselves, peel them, grind them, and let them rest before use. A single peanut cookie takes us about three days to make. Using store-bought peanut butter would save enormous time and labor, but we believe it would also diminish the value of our cookies. Roasting our own peanuts brings out a depth of savoriness and aroma that is simply different. It's tedious, but that's why we work only with raw peanuts.
